Why We Built This Site
Idaho gives the public access to many court and county records, but Clark County records are not all kept in one online database. The District Court handles local trial-court files, while the Magistrate Division of the District Court handles matters such as traffic infractions, misdemeanors, small claims, evictions, probate, and many family-law proceedings. The Clerk of the District Court / County Clerk, Stephenie Stewart, is the local contact for District Court, Elections, Recording, and county public-record requests at 224 W Main St. in Dubois. iCourt provides public case status, Smart Search, hearings, and payments, but filed documents and certified copies still route through courthouse kiosks or the clerk where the case was filed.

This is a privately run reference site. We have no connection to any Idaho court, Clark County office, sheriff's office, clerk's office, or state agency. There are real limits to what we can help with:
- We cannot file paperwork or send records requests on your behalf
- We cannot issue certified copies of any court document or vital record
- We cannot give legal advice or explain how a specific case applies to you
- We cannot guarantee that every phone number, fee, or address listed on this site is current right now
Only the issuing court or government office can provide a certified copy with an official seal. We can point you to the right office, but the document has to come from them.
