Clark County Traffic Court

Clark County Traffic vs Driver Records
The required distinction is exact: court file has citation/case/charge/plea/hearing/disposition/fines/FTA/payment; driver record has license status, convictions reported to ITD, points, suspensions, history. These records are related, but they are not the same. The court record answers what happened in the case. The driver record answers what ITD shows for the driver's license.

Driver Record Fees
Idaho Driver License Records are ordered through ITD and Tyler Idaho, not through the Clark County Clerk. The online record contains three years of driver license history for standard searches. A printable DLR costs $10.50. CDL employer information can return complete driver license history beyond three years. For original issue dates or more than three years of history outside the online path, ITD directs users to complete a paper form.

Clark County Traffic Copy Fees
Traffic court document copies and local record requests should be confirmed with the Clerk. Clark County's Public Record Request form asks for name, address, phone, email, requested information, number of copies, signature, and date. It says a Clark County representative will contact the requester within three working days. The form lists the first 100 copies as free, extra copied pages at $0.10, recorded documents at $1.00, and staff time at $18 per hour after two free hours.

Clark County Traffic Access Limits
Traffic court records are public only to the extent allowed by Idaho law and court rules. Idaho Code 74-102 addresses public inspection and copying unless an exemption applies. Idaho Code 74-103 addresses public-record request timing, and Clark County's form uses a three-working-day contact statement. ICAR 32 governs court-record access, sealing, redaction, and exempt judicial records.
Juvenile traffic details, sealed matters, protected personal identifiers, and exempt information may not appear in public iCourt results. A driver record from ITD may also contain different information than the court file, especially when points, suspensions, or CDL reporting rules are involved.
Note: Paying a citation can affect both the court case and the separate driver record, so check both when license status matters.
